Okay, I've Made My Espresso, Now What Do I Do With The Milk?

I did all of the right things to make espresso at home. I bought myself a good espresso machine. I learned which espresso beans have the best taste and how to grind them to the correct fineness. I managed to insert the gadget with the grinds, known as a portafilter, into the espresso machine, lock it into place, turn on the machine and let her rip.  Great espresso!

But I wanted a cappuccino and Keith wanted a latte. Time to figure out how to steam the milk.

After Dinner Coffee

4 (1 ounce) packages instant cocoa1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon instant coffee
4 cups boiling water
1/4 cup brandy
Whipped cream



Combine instant cocoa and coffee; add boiling water, stirring until cocoa and coffee dissolve. Stir in brandy. Pour coffee into mugs; top with whipped cream.

Yield: 4 servings

Today, I will propose to you how to make a great cup of coffee. You can do it. There are a few secrets to the process. I will share these with you.

Start with the bean and pick your roast. The quality coffee can only come from a quality coffee bean that is properly roasted. The process of roasting a coffee bean is complex and can result in a given bean tasting very different depending on how it is roasted. If you desire a strong intense flavor to your coffee, choose a dark roast (ex: French Roast). If you like to a light flavor, less intense, choose a lighter roast.
